Soaping News Interview
Eva Gomez is a wonderful and talented member of the soap-making community who features a monthly newsletter, interviewing a different soap-maker each month. MEET YOUR MAKERS SHOWDOWN - nOVEMBER 2021
In November of 2021, I was blessed with the opportunity to be a contestant on a new crafting competition show hosted by discovery+, called Meet Your Makers Showdown. Hosted by the wonderful Chrissy Metz, and with Soap Queen judge Anne-Marie Faiola and celebrity judges LeAnn Rimes and Mark Montano, MYM showcased four of the best crafters they could find! This first season was a total of 6 episodes, with each one featuring a different craft. Of course, I was on the Soap Making Episode, and had the opportunity to compete to win $10,000 against three other amazingly talented makers. I don’t want to share spoilers, but you should definitely check it out!
Meet Your Makers Showdown is available to watch via discovery+, either as a standalone service or through an add-on to another streaming service.
